ABOUT Sally
Sally Landau is a California-based dating coach and
relationship expert. In the pantheon of professions,
it may lag behind heart surgeon, climate scientist,
or inner city school teacher, nevertheless, her sage
coaching elevates dating and romance to its rightful
place: mysterious, exciting, and essential.
Having lived a blessed life, majored in psychology,
co-managed a prestigious architectural firm for many
years, endured more self-help seminars than a sane,
adjusted person would ever admit, and since 2001,
been a certified life coach, Sally is expertly positioned
to extend her trained hand to women of all ages; who
hate to date and want a mate. Moreover, for those
over forty, she oozes empathy.
Quick-witted, funny, sometimes acerbic but always
caring, the whining-inclined might want to tread carefully.
Sally instructs, she coaches, she inspires, she directs;
and in her treasured reflective moments, she blogs.
Dating Can Be Fun is her company name and up until
2003, it was her guiding mantra. Sally went on forty-six
first dates with a wide array of quality men, and
contrary to the avalanche of dreadful and life sapping
dating stories she had heard about and partly expected,
she had a ball.
Sally knows how to help clients love themselves,
she guides self awareness, she crafts a process where
women can genuinely define what they’re looking
for in a mate, but most importantly, she preaches
that the dating moment and journey have to be fun.
In Sally’s universe, flirting is an example
of such fun and undeserving of any bum rap. The thought
of flirting, or even better, banter, can be a morning
springboard to the day’s activities. As to how
one executes said flirting, Sally’s coaching
is invaluable; one might find themselves landing smack
dab in the middle of romance.
It’s important to Sally that her client relationships
understand that dating is an opportunity to be out
in public and in a socially acceptable way, play with
themselves (not sure what you mean, not that enamored
with the phrase). Then no matter what happens on the
date, the woman returns home a winner (need to rethink
the point you’re tying to make, confusing).
Sally’s dating journey, her fun-filled trial
and error, was extraordinarily providential. Lo and
behold, Number 45 from August 2003 became the love
of her life. August 22, 2009, will be her wedding
day.
